Web Marketing Class - This was a team effort. This team of three students were to create a website to market. The challenge was to use social media, Google webmaster tools and other techniques to increase traffic to the site.


We created a company to promote - one that we would might actually own or work for in the future. This was unique in the class, as most teams chose portfolio sites. My contribution was to create the business model and develop content strategy. One team member created most of the site; I authored most of the content. I also created tutorials on how to add content to Wordpress. The site was to demonstrate that the company can, indeed, deliver custom content management systems, content strategy and social media marketing.


Mostly through blog content and promoting the content on Twitter and Facebook, we achieved 1,426 page views and a very low bounce rate of 26.6%.
